The Air Jordan 13 &#8220Court Purple&#8221 is a January 2022 release of the retro basketball shoe in a colorway that shows love to the team uniform colors of the Los Angeles Lakers. The &#8220Court Purple&#8221 edition of Michael Jordan&#8217s thirteenth signature shoe is yet another popular colorway that pays respects to the Lakers�the first being the aptly named &#8220Lakers&#8221 makeup that was released in July 2019. Sans any official Lakers branding the &#8220Court Purple&#8221 nonetheless features the Lakers&#8217 color palette on its design. The &#8220Court Purple&#8221 mimics the color block of the Jordan 13&#8217s original &#8220Bred&#8221 colorway by substituting the red accenting for purple along the heel and mudguard. The black mesh upper is treated to a 3M reflective finish. A holographic emblem denoting Jordan&#8217s &#8220Black Cat&#8221 nickname meant to resemble a panther&#8217s eye can be found on the heel. A Court Purple embroidered Jumpman is found on the tongue and white &#8220Jordan&#8221 detailing appears on the vamp. Black midsole walls complete the look. Release date January 8 2022
